One Time or Recurring Donations to Support Our Ministry in Southeast Baltimore

Eat Crabs! Help Kids! Neighborhood Crab Feast, June 16th

Sunday, June 16th, 12:30pm-4pm at
Breath of God Lutheran Church
We're gathering to share crabs, kid-friendly summer food, and a great afternoon together. Bring your own beer or other alcohol--but we've got everything else covered.
All funds raised help to provide backpacks and school supplies to more than 400 local students this August.
Suggested Donation (feel free to give more!)
$45 per adult, $5 per child under 14 years old

We have a maximum capacity of 75 people, so we encourage you to sign up sooner rather than later. We can't over-fill the event at the last minute because we need to make sure our crab supply will be sufficient. Thanks!

Help Support a Neighborhood Family following a Murder

On Saturday night, April 6th, our neighbor José Nieves Castron Morales was shot and killed on the 3700 block of E. Lombard Street while outside spending time with his family and neighbors. He leaves behind a spouse and child, for whom he was the primary provider, as well as heartbroken siblings and other family members. Different city agencies, including Baltimore City Schools, are responding to help the family.

At the request of the family, we are inviting support from the community for funeral expenses, for sending his remains back to his parents for burial, and for helping meet basic needs for his spouse and child in these early days as they grieve and try to determine a path forward for their family.

Please be generous in support of our grieving neighbors. Thank you!

Gracias.

Donations to Support Our Efforts to Feed Neighborhood Families

We are providing groceries, produce, and meals to more than 200 local families, now once every month (on the fourth Saturday). Your donations help us purchase food from the Maryland Food Bank and from local sources to prepare meals and give out as groceries.

Donations to Support the Clinton Street Community Center: Refugee Resettlement

We purchased two fire-damaged properties next to our church building so that we are able to better support families and expand our community work--including adding two year old classrooms for The Highlandtown Preschool, and providing housing and support for refugee families. You can learn more and make a donation at this website.
